Alex Sarrigeorgiou

Alex Sarrigeorgiou is a New York City-based actor, writer, and filmmaker with Greek and Romanian heritage. Raised in Athens, Greece, she pursued drama studies at Vassar College.

As a member of SAG-AFTRA, Sarrigeorgiou has built a career across independent cinema, New York theater, and a growing voiceover portfolio. Her film work tends to favor intimate, character-focused narratives. As a filmmaker, she draws on her passion for poetry to craft lyrical stories exploring personal transformation and existential despair, often placing female and queer perspectives at the forefront.

Her first feature, *In Transit*, was written by and stars Sarrigeorgiou alongside Jennifer Ehle and François Arnaud, with Jaclyn Bethany directing. The film competed at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, was shown at the Deauville American Film Festival, and made its North American debut at NewFest, with additional festival appearances planned.
