23 000 Lives (2026)
Refusing to watch more refugees drown trying to cross into Europe, a handful of young Berliners decide to act. Fueled by idealism and sheer nerve, they crowdfund a rusty old vessel and sail straight into the Mediterranean. Their goal: pull thousands from the water. But as they haul survivors aboard, the line between heroism and lawbreaking blurs, forcing them to confront just how far they’re willing to go.
