When the Rain Falls (2022)

On rainy days, Hazuki always trims her nails—the same fingers that once traced her lost lover’s skin. Now a book editor, she finds herself drawn to Shiori, the head of planning. One stormy afternoon, drenched and seeking refuge, the two women duck into a motel to shower off the rain. There, in the steam and quiet, Hazuki glimpses her vanished girlfriend reflected in Shiori’s gaze. Hesitant at first, they slowly reach for each other, bridging memory and desire.
