The Empire of Night (1962)
Eddie Constantine, typically seen as the secret agent or private eye Lemmy Caution, takes on the role of "Eddie" in The Empire of Night. Here, Constantine is a cabaret singer who finds himself up against a criminal gang. When the crooks attempt to seize control of every nightclub in the city for their sinister plans, Eddie responds with his fists instead of a song. The plot twists in several surprising directions, yet Constantine stays in command from start to finish.
