Short Summer (2025)
Katya, just eight, arrives at her grandparents’ countryside home for the summer. There, time slows to a crawl, while the adults carry a heavy, unspoken silence. In the distance, war is tearing lives apart, a grim reality that never quite reaches their doorstep. Yet, for Katya, the days are filled with the simple wonder of childhood—watching clouds drift by, playing with the other kids who are quietly growing up, and soaking in the strange, suspended peace of a world on the brink.
