Eleven-year-old Rowdy Jonas has his heart set on a summer of countryside adventures with his cool Grandpa Bernard, but his mother has other plans—a seaside trip he dreads. So Jonas sneaks off, hopping a train alone to his grandpa’s village, only to find the old man sulky and withdrawn.
