Book of Days (2003)
A life insurance agent, shattered by his wife's death, hurls accusations at heaven for letting her slip away. Then a stranger drops off an old manuscript at his door—a ledger filled with names and their upcoming expiration dates. Stunned, he realizes the book holds the power to predict the future, and suddenly the mourner becomes the one who must decide what to do with that terrible knowledge.
