The Young Magician (1987)
A twelve-year-old boy is ostracized by his classmates for having zero interest in sports. Everything changes when his parents bring him to a magic show, where the magician selects him as a volunteer. That moment sparks a passion for illusion, and he begins mastering tricks—while also uncovering a gift for telekinesis. Sadly, this only pushes his peers further away, and even his parents grow fearful of his abilities. Then a national crisis strikes, and the government calls on him for help. After saving the day, he's celebrated as a hero and finally embraced by everyone.
