President Rojas is set to address the U.S. Congress, but his Chief of Internal Security, Ferrar, has sinister plans of his own. He dispatches a mysterious assassin named Plato to eliminate Rojas before the speech. The IMF springs into action to uncover Plato's identity and prevent the assassination. Following Rojas to the U.S., Ferrar finds himself waking up on a remote island inhabited by escaped convicts after the IMF stages a plane crash. Paris poses as a double-agent known to Ferrar but never met, convincing him of a plot against them. As tensions rise, Ferrar must fend off the other "prisoners," allowing Paris to thwart Plato. Paris successfully relays the critical information to the team in Washington, just in time to save the President.
