Jay Garrick, a enigmatic figure from Earth-2, arrives at S.T.A.R. Labs bearing a grave warning about a malevolent speedster called Zoom, who aims to eliminate The Flash. Barry and his team grapple with whether they can place their trust in this newcomer while confronting yet another formidable meta-human threat. At the same time, Joe faces the challenge of a tenacious officer named Patty Spivot, who is eager to become a part of his meta-human task force.
