S1E1 Part 1

In 1823, under the leadership of the cunning military strategist Shaka, warriors from the Zulu Empire begin to threaten the borders of the British colony in Cape Town, South Africa. Faced with this looming danger, the governor of Cape Town turns to King George IV of Great Britain for help, but the British are unable to provide additional support. Instead, Lt. Francis Farewell, along with Dr. Henry Fynn and a group of mercenaries, explorers, and professionals, is dispatched to Zululand. Their mission: to engage with Shaka and evaluate the true extent of his formidable forces.
