Megan Donner makes her comeback to the CSI unit as they investigate a plane crash in the Everglades. During their search for survivors, the team unexpectedly uncovers a female victim located five miles away from the main crash site. The sole survivor claims the woman opened the hatch to take her own life, raising red flags for Horatio. Faced with inconsistencies in the evidence, the team is tasked with piecing together the events of that tragic flight to uncover the truth behind the disaster.
