Preparations for Amanda and Count Ditmar's engagement party are in full swing at the hotel, creating a whirlwind of activity. While everyone has high hopes for the event, Max secretly wishes for Amanda to choose someone else. Meanwhile, Molly Andersen has enlisted extra help at Hotel Udsigten, but chaos ensues in the kitchen when it’s revealed that the new maid, Jenny, recently wed the boyfriend of the chef, Martha. Weyse employs unconventional tactics to win over office manager Aurland's wife, while Amanda must remind her father of his promises regarding her engagement.
