Akuto, accompanied by Korone, speaks with Constant's principal. Korone's testimony clears him of malicious intent, yet the principal assigns her to remain as his bodyguard and to judge whether he will truly become a Demon Lord. The next day, Akuto meets Fujiko Etou, who vows to aid him despite his fate. She later suggests a secret mountain meeting behind the school and tells him how to disable Korone. On the way, a mana-mutated demon dog attacks them. Akuto absorbs its mana, reverting it to a puppy—astonishing Korone. The puppy catches Keena's scent, exposing her invisibility ability. After shutting Korone down, Akuto meets Fujiko in the mountains; she invites him to join the Disciplinary Committee to clear his name and gives him a two-shot magical gun that fires medicinal tablets, said to make two people understand each other's feelings.
