Brackman is heartbroken when the pocket watch he received from his father goes missing. Meanwhile, new recruit Melina Paros starts at the firm. Becker takes on a complex task from Flicker, which involves confronting the conniving spouse of Flicker's quiet partner. After Lincoln escapes from Benny and winds up at the animal shelter, Markowitz resorts to drastic measures to rescue him. Brackman enlists a ghostwriter for his memoir. Taylor receives a disturbing package from her stalker, heightening her fears and making her wary of every man she meets. Melman struggles to cope with Mullaney's newfound affection, while Paros wraps up her last case for the State’s Attorney, aiming to demonstrate a mother’s possible abuse of her children.
