The homeowners lend a hand as work progresses on the California bungalow. The crew begins laying shingles on the new roof, while the master carpenter starts piecing together the pergola. Electrician Rudy Escalera drops in to check on progress, and landscape architect Grant Castleberg presents his preliminary design sketches. Later, the host visits Hearst Castle in San Simeon for inspiration.
