Samurai Girls (2010)
Set in early 21st-century Japan, this alternate world imagines the Tokugawa Shogunate still ruling. Within this society, student councils enforce oppression over schools. Yagyuu Muneakira, a high schooler, rises against his own student council, aided by a group of girls who carry the inherited names of legendary samurai warriors.
