In a groundbreaking experiment, scientist David Tate tests a serum intended to revive patients in cryogenic sleep. However, an accidental overdose leaves him transformed and dangerous. After their space capsule makes a catastrophic landing, David escapes into the countryside, wreaking havoc. With the townspeople in danger, Steve takes it upon himself to track down his former colleague and stop the chaos before it escalates further.
