Nam Young journeys to Hanyang to take the civil service exams, where he unexpectedly encounters Ro Seo, who finds herself in yet another predicament. Ro Seo tirelessly labors day and night to support her older brother, Hae Soo. Unfortunately, Hae Soo's financial troubles only deepen, leaving Ro Seo to face a growing mountain of debt. While on her way to confront a creditor, she stumbles upon an illicit liquor shop, complicating her already challenging situation further.
