Shion grows convinced that the Sonozaki family is behind the villagers being "demoned away," particularly in Satoshi's case. She locks Mion in the dungeon and accidentally causes her grandmother's death. The following day, Shion poses as Mion and questions Keiichi about what happened the night before, but he continues to deny everything. Eventually, she uncovers the truth about who was actually responsible for Satoshi's disappearance.
