Satoko grows concerned about Rika's worsening depression and attempts to talk to her, but Rika keeps insisting nothing is wrong. Later that night, Satoko is startled awake by the sound of Rika arguing with an unknown voice. To her horror, Rika reveals that she is going to be killed soon—and that neither of them has the power to prevent it.
