Stuck at home with a broken ankle, Mike fills his days by watching his neighbors in the opposite building. One night, he sees a man having intense, violent nightmares and becomes convinced that these episodes are linked to a sinister plan to kill the man's wife. When Mike shares his worries with his police friends, they brush him off. Desperate for answers, he decides to enlist Pearl to investigate what he can’t.
