Pleasantville's 75-year losing streak stems from a curse placed by Branco Nastovich, a player who fatally slammed his head into a goalpost. When Tommy runs straight through Bronco and scores a goal, a vengeful Nasty chases after Tommy. Meanwhile, Lori gets expelled for smashing her school's trophy case and now attends the same school as Tommy and Merton.
