Chris is reeling after being dumped by his girlfriend and starts to ponder what women truly desire. While working on a music video shoot, he encounters Nedra, a stunning yet stern production accountant who reminds him of his ex. Despite his attempts to connect, Nedra seems completely uninterested, yet every night she performs a strip-tease in her hotel room across the alley, seemingly unaware of Chris watching. Disturbed by the situation, he turns to his psychologist mother, who insists he needs to confront his own desires. Meanwhile, actress Bai Ling, his co-star, brings her own insecurities and a jealous boyfriend to the set, adding to the romantic turmoil as Anson struggles with his own relationship with Jodie, a young horsewoman, feeling overshadowed by her confidence.
