Five years prior, Chayton intervened when his boss and an elderly man came to blows, separating the two before things escalated. In the aftermath, the old man’s words struck a chord, revealing uncomfortable truths about Chayton’s own nature and choices. The confrontation forced him to confront a side of himself he had long ignored, leaving him shaken and questioning the path he had been walking.
