S1E1 Crime scene

On September 5, 2012, tragedy struck in a secluded parking area along a forest road in the Alps, just outside the village of Chevaline, when an English family and a French cyclist were discovered shot to death. A young girl miraculously survived the horrific incident, having sustained a head injury from the assailant who presumed her dead. Authorities quickly cordoned off the area, launching a thorough investigation to uncover any evidence left by the perpetrator. A critical phone call from the campsite owner, where the English family had been staying, would dramatically alter the course of the inquiry.
