Josh Futturman is trapped in a monotonous job as a janitor, escaping reality by immersing himself in Biotic Wars, a seemingly impossible video game that everyone else has abandoned. One day, after achieving the unthinkable and completing the game, he is confronted by enigmatic figures from the future. They reveal that the planet is facing a grave threat, and astonishingly, Josh is the key to its salvation.
