Mako: Island of Secrets (2013)

S1E1 Outcasts

During a full moon, mermaids Nixie, Lyla, and Sirena are assigned to protect Mako Island and its moon pool. Meanwhile, Zac and Cam are enjoying a camping trip nearby. When Zac accidentally tumbles into the moon pool, the mermaids leave him on the beach, unsure of how to handle the situation. The following day, Zac discovers his mermaid powers and shares the news with Cam. As a consequence of allowing the "land boy" in the moon pool, the mermaids face expulsion from their pod, prompting them to find a solution to rectify the situation.
