Chinese operative Wo Fat utilizes a sensory deprivation chamber to extract secrets from U.S. intelligence agents. Meanwhile, Steve McGarrett, the leader of Hawaii Five-O, probes into the suspicious drowning of a close friend. His investigation uncovers a perplexing white substance and leads him into a complex web of espionage involving a foreign operative. To gather information, McGarrett impersonates "control," the keeper of other agents' identities, and willingly submits to capture and placement in the chamber. The question remains: can he endure the torment and emerge unscathed?
