S1E1 Pilot

Dr. Joel Fleischman lands in Anchorage, Alaska, ready to honor his agreement that paid for his medical school in exchange for practicing medicine in the state. Although he expects a challenging transition from New York, he soon discovers that Anchorage has no need for him. Instead, he's sent to Cicely, a quaint, isolated town ruled by the determined Maurice Minnifield, a former astronaut with grand ambitions to turn the area into a tourist haven. Maurice is equally determined to ensure that Fleischman fulfills his commitment to serve the community.
