Mariken Halle

Mariken Halle, born in Oslo in 1982, is a Norwegian filmmaker whose creative path has been marked by a bold, independent spirit. After completing her studies at the prestigious Film School of Gothenburg, she made her feature-length debut in 2011 with *Maybe Tomorrow*, a work that immediately showcased her nuanced storytelling and visual sensitivity.

Rather than following conventional industry routes, Halle co-founded the production company Vapen och Dramatik alongside Clara Bodén. This venture became a vital platform for her artistic vision, allowing her to explore unconventional narratives and champion a distinct, author-driven approach to cinema.
